Treacherous plot

When a serious accident destroys a bunch of friends' careers, Mickey Stewart retires from stock car racing. His buddy Tommy emerges paralyzed from the wreckage. Together they buy a beach hotel in Los Rosas, Mexico. Life goes on there for years, until one day Mickey's ex-girlfriend Lisa comes to visit with her untrustworthy boyfriend Rivers. Like a bolt from the blue, the peaceful life changes. Friendship gives way to intrigue, mistrust and rancor. Lisa turns everyone and everything against each other. Because there is a lot of money at stake, it must end badly.
