London. 24 hours before Tamils are to protest outside parliament, Arun comes home to stop his younger brother Ruthi from committing a crime. Arun's mysterious employer gives him a day to talk Ruthi down. Arun must also come to terms with his dark past, and in the process comes up against his old gang leader, family ties, his Tamil roots and an old flame, Kate, who herself struggles with an important choice.
