The Roadhouse Murder plot
Overzealous journalist Chick Brian and his girlfriend Mary Agnew are stranded during a storm at the remote roadside restaurant 'Lame Dog Inn'. Mary thinks it's a creepy place. And indeed, it soon turns out that Chris and Maria are alone in the building with the victims of a double murder. In order to achieve journalistic fame, Chick fools himself into being the prime suspect and hides the evidence of his innocence for later. However, things threaten to turn out differently than Chick thought…
