The Nurse plot
"Make her cry, she'll watch you die."
George Harriman has problems at work, which one day go to the point where he shoots his family at home and then kills himself. Only his daughter Laura, who is a nurse by profession, is not at home and therefore survives. She holds her father's boss, Bob Martin, responsible. When the latter hears the news, he is so shocked that he ends up in a lock-in syndrome, which means that he cannot move and therefore cannot react, but he can see everything from the outside world. Laura wants revenge and wants to torment him, but to gain the trust of his family she first takes care of him.
