"The only way out is in"

American obstetrician Alice lives in a remote house in the Australian countryside. Exhausted by her work and tormented by an unspoken tragedy, she experiences nightmares while awake and begins to feel an eerie presence creeping toward her from the shadowy undergrowth. As desolation overwhelms her and the threat draws ever closer, her only refuge is the very house where she lost everything. Can she overcome her demons before they wipe away the last vestiges of her self-awareness?
