The Disappearance of Christina plot

Joe Seldon and his beloved wife Christina go on a sailing trip with a business partner and his wife when Christina disappears. It looks like she fell overboard and drowned. But the police inspector in charge of the case discovers several holes in Joe and Christina's happy marriage. When it turns out that Joe also inherits everything from his rich wife, this seems to be a good reason to suspect him of murder. Joe is innocent and to prove this he starts his own investigation. He discovers a web of lies and deceit.
