The Black Hole plot
"No force from this world can stop it!"
The National Laboratory in St. Louis. An experiment with the particle accelerator goes horribly wrong and leads to the formation of a black hole here on Earth. Physicist Eric Bryce (Judd Nelson) is called in by his colleague and ex-girlfriend Shannon Muir (Kristy Swanson) to resolve the situation. What they don't know is that a creature has also come through the hole, which has already escaped the lab and is now roaming the city, feeding on the island's electricity. The only way to save the city (and the rest of the world) is to force the creature back into the black hole and send them together to another part of the galaxy.
