Stickman plot
When Emma Wright was only seven years old, her sister was killed. Emma was blamed, but knew herself that an evil entity called "Stickman" was responsible. It is already years later and Emma has been able to put the past behind her. That changes when Emma again has to deal with the entity.

SyFy director Sheldon Wilson often manages to get the more interesting projects on a conceptual level, but regularly leaves them out in terms of execution. Stickman is no exception, belonging to his more serious work. The main character in this case is (moderately) played by Hayley Law. The role in question is clearly written far too narrowly and that causes the dialogues to come out woodenly. Unfortunately, the other actresses and actors are also unable to add much color to his character. It is a fairly striking fact that there is actually no one for the viewer to cheer for, but fortunately Wilson chooses a more than nice environment for his horror film and sets a high pace almost immediately. The creature, the so-called Stickman, makes little impression due to fairly limited CGI. However, the backstory surrounding it is appreciated, especially thanks to the lack of context. This makes it a slightly more mysterious threat that only gets a face through implications. Wilson has made his films better than this, but in terms of concept, Stickman is quite solid.
