Severed Ties plot

Brian and Angie, two young people in love, have finally found some time at night to enjoy each other. However, their romantic evening is interrupted by a phone call from Brian's brother Victor, who immediately confesses that he accidentally killed someone. Victor has been trying to curb his sadomasochistic impulses for a while, but this time he's gone too far. However, he does not intend to pay for his mistake and asks Brian to help him, without his wife being able to find out. Brian faces a heartbreaking choice: does he risk alienating Angie by helping Victor, or abandon his brother?
