Ronnie plot
Ronnie Schwann is a young man who has not achieved much in his life. He lives in a dilapidated barn behind his mother's house, a chain smoker who can't get through the day without a series of picks, painkillers and antidepressants. He himself works at a shelter for mentally handicapped people; work that he mainly does out of convenience, because that house happens to be just down the street. One day his mother ends up in the hospital. That same day, one of his patients happens to be wandering in front of his house. He is sexually aroused by her and takes her to his bedroom, where he starts groping her. Just then, his aggressive brother, who has just been released from prison, comes along. Ronnie desperately tries to hide the woman from his brother and the other workers at the shelter, who come to him for help. Despite all his efforts, from that moment on, he gets deeper and deeper into trouble and a disastrous outcome seems inevitable...
