Prayer to a Vengeful God plot

After a violent break-in, resulting in the murder of his wife Jennifer, John Krause awakens from a four-month dream into a nightmare of a life that has been cut short. He enters the world again, but everything has changed. In a mist of sorrow, John wanders the landscape of his misery in search of relief. What he finds is a world of drugs and violence and ultimately a chance for revenge.
