Robert and Allan are two up-and-coming lawyers, suburbanites, husbands caught in the nasty normality that sometimes befalls us all, like the wives, the cars, the house, the debts. A quiet despair that often finds its outlet in things like a motorcycle, an ultimate expression of freedom, now wrapped in weekend outings decorated by wealthy urban bikers with a living 'Easy Rider fantasy'. But Robert and Allan's biker fantasies soon fall head over heels back into the brutal realities of life when they fall into the hands of two psychopaths on wheels, Ray and Billy. In the midst of 'Poker Run', a desert motorcycle rally between Victorville and Las Vegas, Ray and Billy kidnap Robert and Allan's wives, leaving the men with a deadly ultimatum to see their wives alive again. They must now follow a series of bizarre leads and perform gruesome tasks that will leave only the Mojave Desert, drowned out by the roar of motorcycles and awash in blood...
