Person of Interest plot

Over a period of eighteen months, three women disappeared from a small town in New England. Sheriff Nickie Welles, who has just learned she will soon be fired due to state budget cuts, is determined to solve the case. Unsure of what to do, she seeks help from local clairvoyant James Hart. Detective Sandra Franks, Nickie's lover, however, thinks that James is not a real clairvoyant and that Nickie is crazy. But James has his own problems. Suffering from a sleep disorder, he checks into a hospital where he meets an oversexed sister. When she becomes the next victim, James suspects that someone is trying to frame him. Could this be Sandra? Eventually, the three discover the terrible truth behind the disappearances.
