Night Club Scandal plot

dr. Ernest Tindal kills his wife and makes sure the clues point in the direction of her lover Frank Marsh. Frank's sister Vera Marsh then enlists the help of journalist Russell Kirk to prove her brother's innocence. But police detective McKinley suspects that mobster Jack Reed was involved in the murder and he shoots Reed when he tries to escape. Reed succeeds and he goes to Dr. Tindal to treat his gunshot wound.
