Mortal Sins plot

"A serial killer. A sacred vow. A priest who can't reveal the truth."

Tom Cusack is a progressive Catholic priest in a working-class neighborhood in New York. One day, he takes the confession of a man who claims to have committed some bizarre murders. The priest finds himself in a state of conscience, because the man cannot promise him that he will stop his atrocities. Despite much criticism from the relatives of the victims and the police, the priest tries his own way, at the risk of his own life, to unmask the killer.
