Med Lukkede Øjne plot

Tom is a well-known writer who hides from the outside world because he has run out of inspiration for 20 years. But then, during a lecture, he meets Renee, a young female fan who gives him new meaning in life. Together they flee to the countryside, away from Tom's ex-wife and his demanding publisher. Soon, country life doesn't seem so idyllic for the couple in love. Two local farm sons who spend their spare time speeding and drinking beer begin to bully Tom and Renee. They become aggressive and the couple's idyll suddenly turns into a nightmare.
