Lux Carne plot

A strict inspection process regulates the public's meat consumption: anyone who wants to eat meat must kill an animal. Young reporter Elie sets out to document the process at the slaughterhouse. However, only participants are allowed in. Elie is thus confronted with the killing of animals.
