The beautiful and rich poet Jeannine finds herself in seventh heaven when she meets the charming American Tom. It is love at first sight for both of them. When Tom wants to marry her after a few days, she thinks this is not strange. He's a decent man, isn't he, who doesn't need to "steal" a rich woman's money? When it's almost too late, Jeannine finds out about Tom's true intentions.
