Formosa Betrayed plot
In the early 1980s, an FBI agent was given the case of the murder of a respected professor. During his research, he became entangled in a web of international secrets. His investigation takes him all over the world, and thanks to a widow and a spy, he learns that the professor wasn't just killed; it was a desperate move by the government so that their secrets actually remained secret. He soon finds himself in a looming conflict situation with the US State Department, the Chinese mafia and the Chinese government, and learns that he can hardly trust anyone.
