"Every Man Has His Price"

With a few months left to live, Mitch Lawrence (Rob Lowe) decides to help one of his regulars, the writer Lou Webber (Joe Mantegna). He has been threatened by a drug dealer for some time and wants to get rid of his assailant. Mitch can earn enough in one fell swoop to assure his pregnant wife of a secure future. But some time later, the guilty Mitch sees his victim in the flesh and hears Webber talking in a TV interview about his new book in which a hit man plays the leading role. Mitch has been framed. But this is just the beginning.
