Dybt Vand plot

Niels Bern Jensen is a nice guy. A happy family man with a promising career and a bright future. He has the heart in the right place. When Mayor Knud Engdahl becomes seriously ill, Niels immediately takes responsibility as Deputy Mayor and capable politician. This is his big chance. But when the building contractor of the municipality asks Niels to break the rules, Niels sees no other option than to cooperate. This small misstep sets in motion a chain reaction of accidents, lies, extortion and murder. Niels desperately tries to correct his mistake, but events are uncontrollable.
