Dead by Sunset plot

A doctor meets a handsome and successful man. They fall in love and get married. However, she has absolutely no idea that he was married before. That in itself is not so bad, but not only did he cheat on his first wife, he raped and abused her and tortured his children. When his wife finally told him she wanted to leave him, he killed her. Does his second wife face the same fate?
