De Zoete Smaak van Goudlikeur plot
A batch of bottles of gold liqueur (also known as Bridal Tears) whose original drink has been adulterated with clandestinely distilled, poisonous methyl alcohol is launched. One bottle is bought by a couple on their way to a wedding party. During the wedding, the television in the kitchen near the banquet hall shows images of the port of Antwerp where three sailors died on a ship after drinking a bottle of gold liqueur. The police start a manhunt for the perpetrators and the remnants of the party.
