The first puzzling case of Cora Steins starts with a swapped hard drive and some strange recordings, which leads the journalist towards the house opposite. Here she finds a 22-year-old woman in the bath who has slit her wrists. While investigating, she comes across a charred body in a remote and deserted village where mystical rituals take place.
