In 1994, the presidential candidate of Mexico's authoritative party is brutally murdered during a meeting in Tijuana. No one knows who is behind this attack and everything points to a conspiracy. Andrés Vázquez, an investigative agent, is assigned to lead a classified investigation. However, another agent, el Seco, is in the process of killing the witnesses and destroying the evidence surrounding the attack. When the truth becomes increasingly clear to Andrés, he realizes that his and his loved ones' lives are also at stake.
