A young filmmaker desperately tries to raise money for a feature film, but since he doesn't have the typical blockbuster ingredients in his script, producers see little point in his project. If people nevertheless agree, he has met a nice actress whom he wants to offer a role. However, instead of making a movie, the director and his crew face an attack from birds. They have to do everything they can to survive the winged animals.
