16-year-old Abbey is not having a good time at home. She lives with her mother Julia, an FBI agent, her stepfather and her half-sisters. After a family fight, she slips out of the house and flees to Arizona to meet 23-year-old Gavin, a handsome young man she met on the Internet. However, it soon becomes clear to Abbey that he has other intentions with her. Meanwhile, Julia tries to track down her daughter by snooping through Abbey's online profile.
