The Silent Planet plot

Theodore is a terminally ill convict serving a life sentence on a lonely planet. He has been there so long that his memories of Earth are fading with each passing day. When new prisoner Niyya arrives, he is glad to have a companion, but she wants to be left alone. To make matters worse, Niyya's family was murdered by a rogue soldier when she was a child, and Theodore suspects it was him. Gradually, they both become paranoid and start displaying violent behavior.
