A SF/Horror film that has little to offer in the way of horror and in which science fiction actually plays a greater role. It is a film about a scientist who transplants the brains of monkeys and gets the idea to do the same with people. The story is not very strong and in terms of tension it is a bit boring. There is too little horror, which makes this hour feel a bit long-winded. The role that Boris Karloff plays cannot prevent The Man Who Changed His Mind from being a lesser title from the list of Karloff films.

Not a bad horror in which the shivers do not come from a monster, but from Karloff's daring plans, the consequences of which are incalculable. Interesting cast, with the puffed-up Frank Cellier having a lot of fun with his swapped identity and personality; the always reliable Karloff and the beautiful Anna Lee (the director's wife at the time of this film) also do a decent job, but John Loder is, as always, a nondescript appearance, so that at the end I almost hoped that Karloff's plan would succeed. Funny title.
