Tears of Steel plot

Thom just wants to be an astronaut. His girlfriend Celia just wants to make robots, and that he not be freaked out by her cyborg hand. When Thom breaks up with Celia, she takes out her anger on the rest of humanity using her destructive robots. Forty years later, a group of warriors and scientists gather in the Oude Kerk in Amsterdam to enact this pivotal event, to overwrite Celia's memory of what happened forty years ago, in a desperate attempt to save the world from her robots.
