Aboard the Nightingale 229 is a strange presence. It's an imminently unknown thing smuggled aboard by Karl Larson. Karl was picked up by the crew near an abandoned mine. The astronauts don't have long to regret this because one by one they come to a violent end. Before that, there is still frantically walking back and forth through narrow corridors, illuminated by photogenic lights. The confrontation at the end of the journey could well determine the survival of the earth.
