Night of the Big Heat plot
On the remote British island of Fara it suddenly becomes uncomfortably hot, while it is the middle of winter. In addition, an occasional mysterious high-pitched beep can be heard. The wayward scientist Dr. Hanson is looking for the cause. He gets help from the local writer Jeff Callum.

Very enjoyable SF about a British island that is hit by an extreme heat wave in the middle of winter. Raising hot aliens prove to be the cause and then it's Christopher Lee to the rescue!!
There's quite a bit of chatter and the islanders are going crazy with the heat, don't expect spectacular special FX and such. Peter Cushing has another small role as the local doctor.
