Life in a Day plot

Scientist Peter develops a means to speed up healing. His colleague Mark decides to give the drug to his pregnant girlfriend, and as a side effect, the baby grows into an adult in one day. They call her Jasmine, but an additional phenomenon is that the aging is so fast that the child will die within a day, unless the genius scientist Peter manages to find a new remedy.
