Black Road plot

"Don't Ride Into Darkness Alone"

In 2029, southern Oregon and northern California will form a new free state called Jefferson. Dylan is an ex-soldier from the elite forces. From work he has been left with a small computer called Clyde in his head. He can turn this on and off if desired and is a friend and partner for him, who advises him on all kinds of things. After two years of absence, Dylan returns to his hometown and his girlfriend, who has since found someone else. Then he meets a rather unreliable woman in a nightclub. She hires him to mediate between her and her even more untrustworthy husband.
