Ellie Andrews is kidnapped by her father because she is married to a famous playboy. She manages to escape and out of the hands of anyone and everyone looking for her with the help of Peter Warne, an unemployed reporter who has his biggest scoop in years with Ellie. The two fall in love during their journey, but when Ellie suspects Peter that he is traveling alone with her for the reward Ellie's father has offered, she heads back home. Who will Ellie ultimately choose; her husband or the man who won her heart?
