The Sea Wolf plot
"Daring Deeds! Dramatic Thrills!"
'Wolf' Larsen, the brutal captain of the hellship 'Ghost' tries in vain to attract the attention of Lorna Marsh, a prostitute in the port of Japan. Allen Rand, who works on Wolf's brother Death's ship, is forced to work on Wolf's ship as the cook's assistant. Lorna follows him on board because she is in love with Rand. At first, Rand is the target of ridicule for Wolf. After a failed attempt to hijack another ship, Rand saves Wolf's life and earns a promotion. Wolf tries to seduce Lorna by force, knocking Rand unconscious in the process. Wolf threatens to succeed in his attempt, but then Death takes charge of the ship.
