Taugenichts plot

Taugenichts is set at the end of the 18th century. A young man who, according to his father, is not good for anything, is sent out of the house. He goes out into the wide world. He ends up in a noble environment and is appointed as a gardener. Later he goes on a journey with the nobleman and his wife.
