Somewhere in Time plot

"Someday in the past he will find her..."

During his graduation performance, playwright Richard Collier meets an old woman who gives him a watch as a present and whispers: 'Come back to me'. Years later, under the influence of writer's block, he stays in an old hotel where he sees a 70-year-old photo of a beautiful young woman in a display case. Instantly in love, he discovers her identity and comes to the shocking discovery that he has met her before.
