Jennifer and Meg Swift are sisters and have a close bond, even though they live far apart. Jennifer lives in Salt Lake City with her son Simon and runs a successful restaurant, which she started with her now deceased husband. Meg lives in Hazelwood and helps her parents with the bakery. Just before Christmas, the sisters switch cities.
