After his return after the Second World War, Yusif is confronted with a disrupted world. His lover is married to someone else, his father is bereaved, his mother lives alone and his friend suffers from psychological problems. Despite these challenges, Yusif tries to pick up the pieces of his life and find hope in the midst of loss and chaos. With determination and courage he tries to turn the situation around and find his way to recovery, love and peace.
