Miss Texas plot
For the young journalist Katharina Fahlke, Texas is nothing more than a macho-ish and underserved place. However, her friend Lilly feels an undying love for this state. Lilly sparks Katharina's curiosity and persuades her to stay at Lilly's father's ranch for a few weeks. There Katharina meets the cowboy Greg O'Neill, who is just as prejudiced about her as she is about him. In Greg's eyes, she's a snobbish city girl, the type of woman he doesn't trust. Despite their differences, their love blossoms and Katharina emigrates from Berlin to the United States and moves in with Greg. She finds in the simple rural life something that she missed in her life in Germany. But can the city woman adapt to conservative life and cope with her new job as a cowgirl?
