Les Yeux de l'Amour plot

It is the spring of 1944. Due to the numerous reproaches of her mother, Mrs. Moncatel, Jeanne is convinced that she is ugly and stupid. After an attack by resistance fighters, she meets Pierre, who is wounded and temporarily blinded. Jeanne takes him to their castle and takes care of him, but when she has an affair with her protégé, she will have to hide it from Mother.
