L'Elefante nella Stanza plot

When Rita discovers that she does not have long to live, her first concern is to fight death. She is overcome with worry for her son Gianni, who has a heart of gold, but is socially awkward and still lives at home. Rita asks for help from Daniela, a newcomer in town, recently divorced and who has vowed to forget about men altogether. Daniela agrees to become a teacher for Gianni's relations, and so things get complicated.
