"Just like a Story Book with its Beautiful Romance"
Eleanor Divine comes from an old aristocratic family. Next door is the Granger family: a "newly rich" family from Iowa who clearly lacks the manners their newfound status should be. Eleanor becomes interested in Eddie Granger, a member of the new neighbors who plays the ukulele. She asks him to teach her to play the ukulele. Eleanor's parents disapprove of her interest in Eddie and remind her that she is destined to marry a French count.
