Following Yonder Star plot

"Love leading, still proceeding"

Abby Marshall, once celebrated for her role as an inspiring mother on television, finds her real life in shambles after dealing with a scandal. She retreats to a luxury resort in Vermont for Christmas, but finds herself without a room due to a booking error. All the local hotels are booked solid because of a rare astronomical event: a star that is said to reflect the Star of Bethlehem will appear on Christmas Eve. Luckily, Abby finds a room at a quaint B&B owned by Tom Maguire, a high school astronomy teacher.
