Shi Ming plot
As Hans approaches his final exams, he feels the pressure of the ideal image his family tries to project. His father, a respected surgeon, expects him to follow in his footsteps. His mother Shu-yi keeps the family together in the background, but Han senses that she is unhappy. In rebellion against expectations, Han starts something with Xue-jin, a mysterious photographer and ophthalmologist, but it soon becomes clear that she has a closer bond with the family. Shu-yi and Xue-jin share a past that connects their seemingly orderly lives.
