As God Made Her plot

The neat maid Rachel Higgins (Mary Odette) hangs the girls career on the coat rack, when an inheritance has fallen to her. Chance introduces her to the kind milliner Mrs. Recamier, who takes pity on her and undertakes to give her the appearance of a lady. Lady Muriel Tahourdin will introduce her to the distinguished circles. While visiting Lady Muriel and her daughter, Rachel realizes that there was an immeasurable distance between the two ladies and her. On the advice of a fashion model from Mrs. Recamiers' fashion store, she turns her attention to the men. She conquers the heart of Captain Seward Pendyne (Henry Victor), the second son of the Lord of Pendyne-Castle. He marries the girl, who stands so far below him in standing, against the wishes of his old father.
