A Slice of Romance plot
Mikayla is an HR employee who is unlucky in love. When she meets Austin, the coffeehouse owner and aspiring pastry chef, they make an appointment. Mikayla will test his creations as Austin gives her dating advice. Things are going well until Mikayla starts to feel undermined at work and Austin's rents rise. Then Mikayla sees an opportunity: she helps to give his coffee house a new look for free, while showing her boss that she is worthy of a promotion. What neither of them had counted on is how quickly the sparks fly.
