Jol plot

Amir, a film-maker by profession, receives a telegram stating that his mother is seriously ill. He heads for his remote hometown. The long emotional journey takes him right through the vast, dusty Kazakh landscape. Amir thinks a lot. About the difficulties of filmmaking, about the young woman who does the editing for his film, about his hand on her skin... And about the look on his wife's face when she suddenly entered the editing room. But whether these are memories, dreams, or scenes from a movie yet to be made, remains a mystery.
