Voices from Within plot

A woman is murdered and Nancy Parkhurst identifies her as her sister. But then a man appears and says that the deceased is his wife. Psychiatrist Mark Reichard of the Los Angeles Police Department investigates the statements, both of which are believed to be true. Mark is attracted to Nancy and is therefore inclined to value her story more. Against the advice of a homicide detective, he decides to help her unravel the mystery surrounding her alleged sister's death. Little does he know, however, that with this he is opening a cesspool of cunning, deceit and a dark past.
